Regional Coordinator-Westchester

The Regional Coordinator for Westchester will serve as chief liaison and contact for Catholic Charities services in Westchester and Putnam, and oversee activities to insure that the needs of the parishes and local communities are being served. He/she will increase understanding and awareness of Catholic Charities agencies and programs among community, civic and political leadership, and build relationships to foster the Catholic Charities mission.



NOEP Coordinator/Food Stamps Specialist

This position is responsible for coordinating and carrying out activities related to the Nutrition Outreach and Education Project (NOEP). The position will also provide services to the poor and the disenfranchised through advocacy, information and referral and crisis intervention services.

Food Stamps Outreach Worker

Food Stamp Outreach Worker will work from various areas throughout the county educating low-income individuals about the benefits of Food Stamps, administering pre-screenings, assisting with application completion, and following up on Food Stamp applications. Outreach workers may be scheduled to attend each site only once or they may be scheduled to attend multiple times throughout the year. Workers will be assigned to work either alone or with a partner depending on scheduling needs.

Ensure the orderly functioning and coordination of the various Catholic Charities services within the designated area. Establish relationships with local governments and officials and other constituencies. Act as a “spokesperson” in a given area, as appropriate, in publicity related items/events.
