The Unaccompanied Minors Program serves unaccompanied immigrant minors who are detained temporarily by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) in juvenile facilities in the lower Hudson Valley, Long Island, and New York City. The paralegal will work with a team to provide services to children who are, or have been, in ORR detention. The Hotline Attorney will serve as the primary point of contact for the Anti-Immigrant Fraud Campaign for callers who have been victimized by notarios or unscrupulous attorneys.

Collaborate with staff and clients to provide vocational assessment for clients; assess clients’ employment history, education, skills, abilities, and potential barriers to employment.
