English Conversationalist
Major Objective: Assist adult ESL students gain conversational fluency in English.
Responsibilities: Speak with blind and visually impaired adult ESL students over the telephone twice per week in a 30 minute one to one session in order to help them improve their listening and speaking skills in English.
Where: Volunteer from home via phone, according to a mutually agreed upon schedule.

Commitment: At least 1 hour per week, minimum 3 months.

Skills Requirements: Native English speaker preferred, with a good clear voice. Prior teaching experience a plus.

Orientation / Training: A brief orientation will be held.
