Donation Coordinator

Description:  Build and maintain relationships with business donors and local parishes. Answer phones and schedule appointments for donation pick-ups.

Purpose:   Stock the thrift store with new donate materials on a consistent basis. Working with the Director, help build and maintain strong relationships with businesses and local parishes (both Catholic and non – Catholic). Assist in setting-up and maintaining a regular pick-up schedule.

Where:  South Bronx – virtual and home-based opportunities available

When:  varies, typically business hours

Duration of Commitment:  Varies based upon volunteer availability–½ days are acceptable

Number of Volunteers: 2-5

Skills Needed:  Looking for outgoing people with good phone skills, multi-lingual a plus.

Orientation / Training:  A brief orientation will be held at the Bronx thrift store.
