Donation Pickup Assistants

Description:  Assist material handlers/drivers with pickups of donations.  Help maintain the flow of merchandise to the agency.  If you enjoy working as part of a team, this is an ideal opportunity for you.

Purpose:  As a pickup assistant, you will help to provide high-quality low-cost clothing, furniture and decorative items to a community greatly in need. 

Where:  Bronx and Manhattan

When:  2 – 3 days Monday - Friday between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Duration of Commitment:  Varies based on volunteer availability, ½ days are acceptable

Type of Volunteers: Individuals, small groups

Skills Needed:  Ability to lift 30 pounds, good communication skills, previous moving experience and multilingual a plus.

Orientation and Training: A brief orientation and training will take place at the site.
