Throughout the year, a variety of special events support the work of Catholic Charities. These events are festive and fun opportunities to come together to raise essential funds to provide help and create hope for thousands of New Yorkers in need.

Archbishop's Golf Open at Winged Foot

This annual golf tournament sponsored by the Archbishop's Committee for Charity raises funds to be used to support the general work and mission of Catholic Charities.

This event is traditionally held the Monday after Mother's Day. Please check back for more information about the 25th Annual Archbishop's Open.

Wall Street Breakfast in the Board Room of the NYSE

This annual breakfast held in the New York Stock Exchange Board Room helps to raise funds and heighten the visibility of Catholic Charities among leaders in the corporate, banking and finance business sectors of New York City.

Catholic Charities Inaugural Gala Benefit

This years' was the first event of its kind for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. The gala event raised funds to provide help and create hope for New Yorkers in need.

Annual Archbishop's Christmas Luncheon at the Waldorf=Astoria

Catholic Charities, in collaboration with the Ladies of Charity, host this annual holiday tradition that raises funds to benefit the women and children served by the agencies and programs affiliated with Catholic Charities.

In December 2009, the 64th annual luncheon, which welcomed Archbishop Dolan to the Archdiocese of New York, raised $800,000 for women and children in need throughout the Archdiocese and saw record attendance. Read more.

CYO Club of Champions Dinner

Each year this annual event raises money to support the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). CYO serves tens of thousands of young people each year through athletic, social, spiritual and cultural activities and services. Funds raised at this annual dinner provide critical resources for our inner-city community centers, parish-based athletic programs, summer camps for disabled and minority youth, teen leadership and youth ministry programs.
