Catholic Charities Volunteers (and Archbishop Dolan) Make Christmas Possible for More Than 1700 Individuals on Kmart Shopping Day
Archbishop Dolan joined hundreds of Catholic Charities volunteers at Kmart on Saturday December 11th to shop for families in need in our archdiocese.
A total of 1,728 individuals were provided with winter necessities this year as a result of Shopping Day.
St. Nicholas Project Shopping Day, annually organized by the Catholic Charities Junior Board, provides blankets, coats, hats and scarves and other winter necessities to families that are part of the St. Nicholas/Adopt-a-Family Project. This program provides year-round support to families in the form of various social services, so that they may move forward in their lives.
