Description
Lavelle's mission has expanded to include students with both visual and multiple disabilities. Serving students 3-21 years of age, the educational program at Lavelle has been designed to provide a tailored curriculum incorporating special education instruction into a comprehensive program of cognitive development, speech, and language, and social and daily living skills acquisition. A team of educational, professional and related service providers with expertise and training in the education of children with special needs works closely together to ensure that each student's specific needs and skills are incorporated into the overall integrated educational plan. Also, our school provides on-going social and recreational services for alumni as well as specialized computer training.
