ING New York City Marathon Test

Welcome to Team Catholic Charities NY, the inaugural ING New York City Marathon Team of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. Thank you for your interest in helping New Yorkers in need, non-Catholics and Catholics alike. Through a network of more than 90 programs, services and agencies, Catholic Charities provides help and creates hope for more than six million of our New York neighbors, responding to nearly every human need, always with compassion and dignity.

Supporting Team Catholic Charities NY will directly benefit our St. Nicholas Project, a program that provides critical social services to families in need throughout the year. St. Nicholas Project services include nutritious meals, job readiness training, housing assistance, immigration and refugee resettlement counseling. In keeping with the story of St. Nicholas, our work has a special focus during the Christmas holiday season, when our client families receive winter items of necessity such as blankets, coats, hats and gloves. 

Help athletes of Team Catholic Charities NY who need an entry into the ING New York City Marathon raise the required $3,000 and those athletes who already have a guaranteed entry into the ING NYC Marathon raise the required $1,500.
